GARY MYLES
Gary "Gear Box" - 19k
21st September 1963 - 11th August 2009 (aged 46 years)
His service was held in Greymouth on the 16th August 2008,
his body was laid to rest in the Hokitika cemetery.
Gary was well know around the Northland Tracks as both a driver an a valuable
club member. He was admitted into Auckland hospital on the 10th August as the
result of a farm accident. Gary developed his love of racing through his father whom
raced Stock cars down south, Gary moved to Kaikohe to work as a mechanic for Broadway Motors,
Kaikohe after a few years of working inside, he decided to move back to farming.
Gary's first love was C Grade & the Demo Derby's He had his stent of winning trophies along with
one for the "Worst Prepared Car" Gary then had a short stent in the Stock cars and later Jalopy's
Gary smiling face and helpfulness to his fellow members
will be missed amongst his fellow team members.
