Northland Speedway Champs "NBC" Race meet held Whangarei 2nd February 2008
Whangarei Speedway was all geared up on Saturday to hold it's round of the Northland Speedway Champs "NBC", the track was looking fast & it was obvious that the Whangarei members had put in a lot of hard work and long hours preparing the track for this event. Racing started almost on time with some great fast & close racing ........ however the race meet was cancelled before the first round was completed due a serious accident, that has left one of the drivers in a critical condition.......Our thoughts are with the driver and his family
